Hands & Voices is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families and their children (birth through high school) who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as the professionals who serve them, without bias towards communication modes or methods. Hands & Voices is a parent-driven, parent/professional collaborative organization providing families with the resources, networks, and information they need to improve communication access and educational outcomes for their children. The diverse membership includes those who are D/deaf/hard of hearing and their families who communicate orally, with signs, cue, and/or combined methods. Hands & Voices exists to help our children reach their highest potential.

A group of passionate parents and dedicated professionals have joined together in Vermont to establish a statewide chapter of Hands & Voices. We hope you will join us as we grow and support the needs of families in our state. Please visit the national Hands & Voices website at to learn more about this organization and to access the many available resources. Please share your contact information with us if you would like to participate in this exciting group or just prefer to stay updated with our activities. We are currently recruiting new members and board members for Vermont Hands & Voices. Please contact us for more information!
