When a child is deaf or hard of hearing, the way we communicate needs to be adapted to provide them with the best possible access to learning language. This monthly meetup is intended to build community among families with a deaf or hard of hearing child and encourage language learning for young children who are learning sign language and/or spoken English. Sessions will be led by a Teacher of the Deaf, Sign Language Instructor, or Educational Interpreter.

We will have: developmentally appropriate games that foster fun and communication  songs with rhyme and rhythm in sign language and English stories to support language development toys and books for informal play light snacks
